The University of Maryland Department of Fire Protection Engineering, one of the few places in the world offering degrees in fire protection engineering, has a 30-credit, Web-based fire protection option under its existing Professional Master of Engineering program.
Designed for the practicing professional with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, the program can be completed in 15 months on a part-time basis. Featured is a curriculum rich in the latest scientific and technological principles and practices with emphasis on performance-based approaches to building fire safety analysis and design.
